What does it mean to make a donation in memory of a loved one?

Making a memorial gift is a meaningful gesture of love and remembrance. It’s a way to honour someone dear to you while supporting a cause they cared about: helping children and families at CHU Sainte-Justine. 

 How do I create an in memoriam page?

Click on Create an In Memoriam Page, tell us a bit about your loved one, add a photo and a personal message, then share the link with your circle so they can leave tributes and make donations. 

 How do I make a donation in memory of a loved one?

Select Make a donation in memory, choose your amount, enter your contact details, and you’ll automatically receive a tax receipt by email. 

 What kind of memories can I share on my in memoriam page?

You can share stories, meaningful moments, qualities, passions, or anecdotes that reflect your loved one’s personality. Your words will make the tribute feel even more personal and heartfelt. 

 Will the amount I donate be visible to others?

You can choose whether to display your name and donation amount or remain anonymous. No matter your choice, every gift is valued and acknowledged by the Foundation. 

 How can I track my fundraiser’s progress and read the messages left?

Log in to your personal dashboard by clicking (Log in). From there, you can follow your fundraising progress in real time and read the messages of support you’ve received. 

 Can I share my page on social media?

Absolutely. Use the share button at the top of your tribute page to invite friends and family to support your cause and help amplify your impact. 

 What information is shared when someone donates?

By default, the donor’s first name, donation amount, and date are visible to the page creator and Foundation staff. If the donor chooses to remain anonymous, their information stays private.
